FIRST AID TRAINING Bridgen Training Services is fully
Accredited by the Rail Industry First Aid Association (RIFAA) to deliver
First Aid Training. Bridgen Training Services provide high
quality First Aid at Work, Appointed Persons, Fire, Manual Handling or
tailor-made Health and Safety courses for the workplace at the lowest
practicable cost. Courses operated throughout the country to accommodate your
business needs.
The Rail Industry First Aid Association
established 1997, RIFAA Ltd has partnership
arrangements with Bridgen Training Services to provide cost effective First
Aid and Manual Handling Training. RIFFA actively gives support and encourages
the many dedicated rail industry employees and their families who give freely
of their time to attend first aid lifesaver courses around the country,
enabling them to maintain their skills on an annual basis. RIFFA are able to maintain its high
standards due to our close liaison with St John Ambulance, the Health and
Safety Executive and the Rail Industry Lead Bodies, thus enabling our
trainers to provide up-to-date training and information relevant to the
specific work group, based on current risk assessments and work practices. RIFAA provide high quality First Aid at
Work, Appointed Persons, Manual Handling or tailor-made Health and Safety
courses for the workplace at the lowest practicable cost. RIFAA have a leading role in planning and
organising special events to enable the validation of emergency plans,
multi-agency response exercises and the provision of First Aid personnel for
standby duties such as emergency engineering work. RIFAA is the Lead Body for setting
standards within the Rail Industry to ensure First Aiders are able to
maintain competency. RIFAA facilitates this by organising local
and national level First Aid Challenges. These events are designed to test
the skills of the individual First Aiders at a high standard, in a safe but
