London Underground and Network Rail Training and Assessment Provider Executive Summary

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

To meet the Training, Assessment and Licensing requirements of London Underground and Network Rail, an executive decision by our Managing Director was made to set up Bridgen Training Services Limited in 2005.

Bridgen Training Services Limited, a dedicated London Underground and Network Rail Licensed Training and Assessment Company, with an experienced and knowledgeable training team drawn from the rail-engineering sector

Bridgen Training Services offer a unique package of skills and experience including:

• Professional expertise in all disciplines of Railway Training
• Many years experience in Training, Mentoring and Assessment delivery
• Local Knowledge
• Skilled and Competent Briefers, Trainers, Mentors and Assessors
• Wide experience and knowledge of the railway business 

Services include a comprehensive range of courses delivered across the United Kingdom. At our Harrow & Wealdstone and West Horndon training centres where there are (state of the art, air-conditioned) training rooms and an indoor and outdoor track training facilities. Bridgen Training Services use various sites and/or stations across the London Underground and Network Rail Controlled Infrastructure for the practical elements of Training, Familiarisation, Mentoring and/or Assessment courses and/or programs. The Worksop training centre boasts five new air-conditioned training rooms and an Institute of Rail Welding (Certification Scheme for Welder Training Organisations) approved indoor welding training track facility. At Stockport four fully equipped air-conditioned training rooms and an Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) approved S&T indoor track training facility in addition to training facilities at Norwich.

Bridgen Training Services Limited currently offers London Underground Category one (1) and Network Rail Safety Critical Training & Assessment, Welding Training, S&T Training, Small Plant Training, Machine/Crane Controller Training, Health Hazard Training (First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire) and Technical Training in Permentant Way. Bridgen Training Services Limited also offers an impressive range of alternative training, designed to meet the needs and trends in both the Rail and Construction Industry.

Bridgen Training Services is organised to deliver Training, Mentoring, Familiarisation, and Assessment services to the satisfaction of London Underground, Network Rail and its customers in a manner which complies with Legal, London Underground and Network Rail requirements.  Bridgen Training Services supply the requisite professional and technical expertise, supervision, trained, competent and experienced Trainers, Mentors and Assessors and administrative back-up staff. Bridgen Training Services is also organised to supply all the necessary facilities, materials, plant and equipment required to deliver our services.

Bridgen Training Services deliver a comprehensive range of courses and programs at our Training Centres Bridgen Training Services use various sites and/or stations across the London Underground and Network Rail Controlled Infrastructures for the practical elements of Training, Familiarisation, Mentoring and/or Assessment courses and/or programs.

Whilst Bridgen Training Services are primarily London based with additional out based Training facilities at offices in Ashford, Birmingham, Swanley, Luton, Norwich, Stockport and Worksop. We are therefore able to provide locally based Training and Assessments.
